Hand dyed by me in my treehouse studio with natural indigo dye to reach high contrast blue and white and unwrapped to reveal the unique spider web patterns, called Kumo-Japanese for cloud. This technique involves tying and then untying each individual section of fabric by hand with a string evenly and is incredibly time consuming.
